Dynamic Pressure Testing Rig ZFG 3000

The light drop-weight devices are used to determine the dynamic deformation modulus Evd [MN/m²] by means of the dynamic plate load test according to TP BF-StB Part B 8.3. This provides conclusions on the load-bearing capacity and compaction quality of soils.

The main field of application for light drop-weight equipment is earthworks and traffic route construction. Other areas of application are gardening and landscaping and soil exploration.

TECHNICAL DATA

The ZFG 3000 with the 10 kg loading device has a measuring range of 15 - 70 MN/m². The test method is suitable for coarse and mixed-grained soils up to a maximum grain size of 63 mm. The ZFG with the 15 kg loading device extends the measuring range from 70 - 105 MN/m². This is required for heavy base courses in permanent way and for ballast. The ZFG 3000 with GPS function stores the position of the drop weight and thus provides clear evidence of the location. Thanks to the satellite use of GPS, Glonass and Galileo, the location is determined to an accuracy of around 2 metres.
