The DRB 60 direct-push drilling system offers you the possibility of getting an undisturbed soil sample and conveying it in a PVC liner. The outer casing and the liner are drilled-in simultaneously, only the liner will be extracted. The outer casing remains in the ground and protects the drill hole from falling soil from above and groundwater entering from the side.
The DRB 60 can be drilled by using our hydraulic hammer or an SPT drop weight unit. This system can be used with all Nordmeyer GEOTOOL machines that have at least a SPT drop weight unit.
